IM 2.0

I was always looking for ways to carry instant messaging to wherever I currently am

and thought I found a solution to this problem in using my Nokia E61 for that and well, fring works quite well, but it's not as good as I hoped. The newest try to overcome this problem:

There's a jabber server at jabber.sparced.org right now, you might want to try it out, it has transports for all major IM networks and works quite stable for a couple of days now :-)
