...commuting luggage.

This is what I carry around with me every day(click on the images to enlarge them):

My trusted timbuk2 commute xl bag and a urban tool hip-holster:

and in there(from top left to bottom right, more of less):

1 litre bottle of water(sometimes flavoured with syrup)
Sandisk sansa e250 mp3 player running rockbox
Moleskine weekly notebook(12 months)
iLiad ebook reader
medications for hayfever and headaches
cheap memory card reader
250gb usb harddisk
gel pen, classic fountain pen, simple ballpoint pen
keys, railway ticket, keycard
purse
long usb cable(about 2 metres)
Holux Bluetooth GPS mouse
mini tripod
Gerber multitool
private mobile phone
company issued mobile phone
loose leaf folder

With this, almost all things are always ready when I need them. If I need to go on a short business trip,
I might just add a notebook and a change of clothes to this setup, digital camera is also optional(even
though I lug the tripod almost everwhere I go :-)).

Things like the purse, keys, phones and the multitool go into the hip holster, all other things
are neatly stowed within the bag.

What to you carry around with you every day?

In a second run, rsync doesn't report any differences between the original filesystem and
its copy.

But the filesystems differ in size and number of files.

After comparing numerous lists of files in both filesystems(about 500k files in each),
we found the reason for the difference and it was, as always, pretty obvious:
